I just came home from a play that was inspired by William Shakespeare entitled William. It was okay for me. I really have high standards when it comes to plays. After which, I was supposed to go somewhere else to chill but failed so I went straight home. Yes, at home on a Saturday. I finally got my laptop back and I browsed my movie collection. I happened to pass by this movie, Flipped which I heard was a good movie. Indeed, it was. It was a light story of first loves and young love. The story was about Bryce who moved in to a place and met Julianna who stalked him everywhere. There are a lot of things that happened between them that caused Julianna to lose admiration over Bryce and the situation flipped. To know the fully story I recommend everyone to take time to download or watch the movie. I guarantee everyone a good time. Plus expect the good looking Callan McAuliffe of I Am Number 4 to keep you wanting for more. The movie was based from the novel of Wendelin Van Draanen with the famous cover of a chick that is flipped.
I just got a shift of mood after watching this and realized how situations can turn. Sometimes you will realize something important once you lose it. People who really cares for you will notice your absence because your presence matters a lot to them…those who won’t notice or give a damn are the people who care less. The story of chase and being chased is an example of knowing who will go after you just because you are too much to lose. I just read a quote before that once you walk away and that person does not chase you, continue walking. You do not need people in your life who will just come and go.
Finally! I was able to watch my first Cinemalaya movie Ligo na U, Lapit na Me and it is during its special screening. I really woke up early just for this. I was really anticipated to watch it since I direly would like to support my soon-to-be professor, Eros Atalia. The story was based on his novel which my friend, Gemma considered as our bedtime story before because it was really funny. I thank Sir Eros for our ticket reservation thru his niece that’s my good friend, Michelle. Congratulations since Intoy, the male lead (who was also my crush) Edgar Allan Guzman, for winning best actor and it was overwhelmingly supported by people since the tickets were always soldout. This first time was really worth it! I will greatly support Ligo na U, Lapit na me, as an official entry for this year’sCinemalaya. It is a movie rendition of the book of Eros Atalia who is a professor in Faculty of Arts and Letters of UST. I am somehow puzzled with how they chose the actors. Intoy, the male lead is described as the not-so-good-looking student in their campus and Jenny as the most beautiful girl. Anyway, I am very much looking forward to the showing this July. This will be a good birthday treat for me! PS. I am also looking forward to have Sir Eros as my professor! *all fingers crossed*
Hope this is so possible in every fights. God no. No. This is the sweet story of My sassy girls which I think is one of the most legendary and prominent Korean movie. I really felt hopeless romantic after watching this. I love this movie to death because unlike American films which contains explicit scenes all the time… this is wholesome, mushy in a melting way and nicely plotted.
A related movie to this is Windstruck which should be watched before this :D *sees hearts in the air* |
